Massage
The foundation of my work is in the understanding of our meridian pathways as described in traditional Chinese medicine, focusing massage along the direction of the meridians, and pausing to release stagnant acupressure points. I am also trained in a number of modalities including deep tissue, myofascial therapies, and sports massage. A typical treatment may include a variety of techniques spanning multiple modalities.
Deep Tissue Massage
Like a regular massage, but deeper and with more focus on specific dysfunctions, Deep Tissue Massage aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries.
Acutonics Treatment
Acutonics utilizes precisely tuned tuning forks along energy meridians and at specific acupuncture points to help correct imbalances, stimulate growth and transformation, and facilitate inner harmony and wholeness. The sound waves of these tuning forks vibrate and travel deeply into the body effecting human physiology and reaching places not easily accessed by traditional medicine. Acutonics is great for physical disharmonies originating in the musculoskeletal system, as well as supporting what we need to overcome psycho-spiritual imbalances.
Sound bath
I offer personalized or group sound bath experiences using crystal singing bowls, a planetary gong, and a collection of interesting sound tools. These sound immersions utilize planetary frequencies and can me very meditative and transforming.
